Built for finance teams who are done with asset spreadsheets

Most companies track vehicles, equipment, land and software licences in a spreadsheet that one person understands. Depreciation is recalculated by hand, changes go unchecked, and the numbers drift from the books.

Asserta replaces that with one shared register, a clear approval trail and month-end figures your accountant and auditor can trust. We price in USD and accept local payment, so teams can start without a foreign card.

FAQs

What is Asserta and how does it work?

Asserta is a fixed asset register for finance teams. You set up asset categories with their depreciation rules, register each asset with its cost, location and documents, and every change goes to an approver. At month-end Asserta calculates depreciation and prepares the PPE report and the journal for QuickBooks.

Which depreciation methods are supported?

Straight-line, declining balance, and declining balance that switches to straight-line, each with a residual value. Depreciation starts pro rata from the month an asset is acquired, and you can record revaluations, impairments and disposals.

Can I bring in my existing asset list?

Yes. You can import your current list from a spreadsheet when you register assets, then attach invoices, photos and warranties as you go.

Does Asserta work with QuickBooks?

Yes. Map each category to your QuickBooks accounts once, and post the monthly depreciation journal in one click after you’ve reviewed it.

Who can add, change or approve assets?

You decide with roles and permissions. New assets, edits, disposals and revaluations wait for a second person to approve them, and every step is kept in the asset’s history.

How do I pay?

Plans are priced in US dollars. Pay by card through Stripe, or with MTN MoMo or Airtel Money in Rwandan francs at the day’s exchange rate.
