Terms of service

The person who creates the company account is its Owner. The Owner decides who is invited, what each role can do, and is responsible for the people they invite. Each person signs in with their own account and keeps their password private.

Plans are priced in US dollars and billed monthly or annually in advance, as shown in Plans & billing. We send an invoice before payment and a receipt after. You can pay by card through Stripe, or by MTN MoMo or Airtel Money in Rwandan francs at the exchange rate shown when you pay. Plan changes and add-ons take effect once paid. If a renewal stays unpaid after its due date we may suspend access until it is paid; your data is kept in the meantime. Payments already made are not refunded for unused time, but a downgrade only starts at the end of the period you have paid for.

Your company owns the records it enters, and you can export the register and reports to Excel or PDF at any time. Depreciation, reports and journals are calculated from your records and your category settings; have them reviewed by your accountant before filing or relying on them.

Don’t misuse Asserta: no attempts to access other companies’ data, to disrupt the service, or to upload unlawful content. We may suspend an account that does.

We work to keep Asserta available and accurate, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your company paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses.

We will email the Owner at least 30 days before changing these terms or prices. The Owner can close the account at any time by writing to ; export your data first. These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda.
